Covenant University ("CU", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Our registered office is in Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria.

2. What data we collect

• Information you provide directly (e.g. application forms, enquiries, account details).
• Technical data automatically collected when you visit (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, device identifiers).
• Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 7.

3. Why we process your data (lawful bases)

• To deliver the services you request (contract).
• To meet legal and regulatory obligations (legal obligation).
• For analytics, marketing, and personalisation (consent — withdrawable at any time).
• For the legitimate interests of running and securing the institution (legitimate interests).

4. How long we keep it

We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes set out in this policy, or as required by law. Specific retention schedules are available on request.

5. Sharing and transfers

We share personal data with vetted processors (e.g. hosting, analytics) under written contracts. International transfers are made under appropriate safeguards as required by the NDPA and GDPR.

• Under the GDPR: you may lodge a complaint with the relevant EU/UK supervisory authority.
