Problem Statement
Across Nigeria, both small and large organizations collect and process vast amounts of personal data — from financial details to biometric records. Yet, citizens often have little control or visibility over how their data is used, shared, or stored.
Frequent data breaches, unauthorized sharing and weak consent mechanisms undermine trust, discourage digital adoption, and slow Nigeria’s ability to position itself as a trusted player in global data flows and trade.
Task
(Please read carefully)
Design a technology-based solution that empowers citizens with control, transparency and trust over how their personal data is collected, used and shared — while helping organizations of all sizes stay compliant with Nigeria’s NDPR and global data protection standards.
Innovation Focus Areas

Transparency Dashboards: Give users a clear view of who accessed their data, when, and for what purpose.
